As you probably know, trenchers are available in many different sizes.  The first step is deciding which size trencher you need for the job at hand.  If you’re cutting a deep trench into hard ground, you obviously want to consider a bigger and more powerful trencher to get the job done.  If your task isn’t that large, a smaller trencher will be easier to handle and will get the job done fine.
